Indiza’s Melody de Robillard has been nominated for the Regional Business Achievers Award 2016, an initiative of the Businesswoman’s Association of South Africa (BWA).

The Awards recognise achievements by women in business in six categories – Corporate; Women in Government and State Owned Entities; Entrepreneurs; Emerging Entrepreneurs; Social Entrepreneurs and Professionals. The BWA has presented the Businesswoman of the Year Awards annually since 1980.

Emerging Entrepreneur

De Robillard has been nominated in the Emerging Entrepreneurs category – in order to be nominated in this category, nominees must be a minimum 26% shareholder in the company that they’re operationally involved in for at least one financial year in a managerial capacity. In addition, the business may not have been trading for more than five years, and must not be operating at a loss, but achieving a minimum of breakeven or profit.
Indiza Charters is an aircraft charter broking firm based in Durban, South Africa, which offers services to corporate executives, government officials, and sports teams.

BWA is the largest and most prominent association of business and professional women in the country, and it plays a key role in highlighting the current status of women in leadership, and lobbies for women’s business issues.

The 2016 Regional Business Achiever Awards: KwaZulu-Natal will be held at the International Convention Centre, Durban, on the 29th July 2016.
